People often ask me how I came up with the idea for Silver Essence Floating Spa.
Here's the story....
In 2008, I read an article about a woman who had chronic back pain. After trying everything she decided to try a floating session her friend had recommended and reluctantly, she made an appointment. After the first floating session her pain was gone. She began floating once a week and had maintained a pain free life. WOW!!
I was so impressed with the story I began to research floating and found the closest float rooms in Boston, MA. I traveled to Boston with my parents and we all loved floating. Several months later, my husband Craig and I traveled back to Boston and we were hooked. We continued researching float rooms, pods and tanks and Craig designed a float room system and we opened our doors in October 2010. Since that day over 5000 curious floaters have come through our doors and given floating a try, many becoming devoted floaters. Our dream to bring floatation therapy to Western New York has become a reality.
Our ongoing mission is simple – Provide a unique and relaxing environment where people can relax their body, mind and soul.
